Here how to access them quickly. Say, you use Google Chrome more frequently. Instead of conventionally double clicking the icon on the desktop, you can add the chrome shortcut to taskbar and press Windows key + Number of position of the Chrome on the taskbar. Here it is third position as shown below. So click Windows key + 3 to instantly open chrome. Just the same way, Windows key + 1 to open calculator, Windows key + 2 to open excel.
